I know it's been a while - hope you're doing well! Just wanted to let you know that Jade is doing great!
She's extremely special to us. Certainly the best dog I've ever known, and she's been a wonderful addition to our family. Thought I'd share with you that she's also an incredible Frisbee dog. Here's a video from our family's trip up the west coast last summer if you'd like to see her in action:

Just wanted to thank you again for raising such special animals, and I wish you all the best.

Keeping you updated with Riggins great progress.
He has grown up to be one incredible German shepherd and we could not love the mischievous little guy any more.
He completed his puppy imprinting course and is working towards finishing his AKC good citizen certification. Attached are several pictures of our little guy. He has yet to be neutered and is an extremely good looking boy. We are incapable of going anywhere without being complimented on his good looks. He is affectionate and sweet, yet protective  when need be.

Thank you so much for such an amazing dog.

Ecko is amazing!!
      (Kimba and Judah pup)

I do not believe I can put into words the appreciation I feel to you for breeding and training such amazing puppies.  Ecko is 6 months now and I have never raised a puppy that is so smart, respectful and fun.
The fact that he knew to sit and wait at 8 weeks is priceless. I have never felt his sharp baby teeth thanks to you.  Since I have raised approximately 25 puppies this is saying a lot.
He is not afraid of much but he thinks through situations very carefully.  While he is a typical shepherd that wants to stay close to his person he is not desperately clingy as many are.  Ecko makes my 12th GSD and I have fostered many more but I have never had a dog that is this close to perfect.  We are currently doing dog class with him and he quickly picks up any new challenge.  Did I mention how smart he is,  well he is brilliant.

Again, I can not thank you enough for my best friend.

I just wanted to drop a note to you to tell you about Gabriel.  What a joy he has been for us!  He is so very smart.  He is learning to heel, sit-stay, down-stay, sit, down, come and fetch (and bring it back) so very smart!!!
I believe he is Heaven sent.  He is so calm when we aren't working.  He will sit or lay by my side  or on his bed.  He loves boat rides too.  He just got his rabies shot and his last vac yesterday.  He weighed 32.5 pounds.
His appetite is good.  Have I mentioned how smart he is?  On the down-stay I can lay his leash down and walk circles around him and even step over him and he just lies there!  I am impressed!!!  He loves children and plays well with them (mostly my great nieces and nephews).

Thanks for taking the care to breed such a wonderful companion for Penny and me.  We feel blessed to have him.

Sincerely Chris and Penny O.

We have been writing to you giving you updates on Naoc and how he is doing, today however, we are celebrating a milestone (to us anyway) of Naoc turning 6 months old and we decided it was time to give a testament to how wonderful you and your dogs are!

You breed a very beautiful dog…we get compliments constantly on our Naoc. People are amazed how big he is and how regal he looks. Aside from his handsome good looks comes his astounding intelligence!

We are simply amazed at how fast he learns new commands and how intuitive he is! He is brilliant and your breeding helped to bring him to that level. We are currently in training with Bob Gailey and we are hoping to get our AKC good citizenship certification and go on to maybe, if we get it right (We know Naoc will!) doing some obedience competition with him. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for an amazing puppy! We couldn't ask for a better, smarter or well balanced puppy! Thank you again! We have attached pictures and hope you get a grin at what a handsome young dog he is becoming!

Sincerely,

Ken and Elza W.

NAOC 8 MONTHS OLD

I just wanted to give you a quick update on your puppy. To start with, we are very happy and glad to have her. Here are some interesting details.

On our way back home on Monday evening, we stopped at Petco. The employees there admired your/our puppy. One of them, who used to have a GSD asked about you and was really impressed by the looks and maturity of your female puppy. The even better part of  the story comes next.
A lady walks in the store with a large dog. My daughter Clio had Meera on the leash - she was already getting accustomed to it. I went immediately to check on Clio because I was unsure about how the 2 dogs would interact. The lady of the big dog told me she was a dog trainer and commented that both the puppy and my daughter were doing just fine. The trainer kept observing Meera's behavior. She was impressed by her and said she was an "exquisite" puppy. Way to go Stacy!! You should be proud of your dog.

Meera is quickly adjusting to living with us. She has started bonding with us and wakes up the kids by showering them with kisses. She sleeps peacefully through the night. Yes, she did complain a bit at the beginning of the first night, but we sat next to her for a few minutes and she quickly calmed down. She alerts us during the night if she needs to go and quickly settles in once she goes back in her crate.

One difference I observed compared to my previous dogs is how vocal she is. She likes to "talk" a lot and let us know when she is unhappy :). The first day she was missing her old house and dog friends, but within 24 hours she has already started getting used to her new life. Now Meera and my daughter are each trying to establish who ranks higher in the pack :).

I will send you pictures soon.

Thanks for the nice puppy

Testimonial for Callye and The Lord's Shepherds

Picture

I want to thank you for bringing Callye into the world. She means more to me than you’ll ever know! As I later confided in you, I am suffering from PTSD due to a violent assault. Because of that, I have been suffering from anxiety and insomnia. The first night I brought Callye home, I slept the entire night! I knew she’d help with my symptoms of PTSD, but I had no clue how much comfort and sense of security she’d bring me on the first night. I also had no idea she’d sleep through the entire night. I have also noticed my anxiety levels going down. She is a blessing to me! She is most certainly my Lord’s Shepherd!

I also want to thank you for all the countless hours you let me spend at your house with Callye, the pups, and the other Shepherds you have. Again, you didn’t know at the time, but the time I spent over at your house over many weeks, brought me relief from my anxiety. It meant so much to me! It also allowed me to solidify my bond with Callye before I brought her home, which I see as a huge bonus.

I must now brag about Callye. She is not only a beautiful little girl, but she is extremely intelligent. The training you did with her prior to her leaving you has stuck. She hasn't had a single potty accident in the house; she has impeccable manners - she doesn't jump, and she sits without even been told; she is completely in tune with me; I was amazed that when I brought her home, she had her name recognition, flawless “come” and “sit” commands. You did an amazing job with her. Thank you for setting her up for success in her life!

Here’s where the bragging comes into play. I had no idea what she would be capable of learning at 8 and 9 weeks of her young little life. Apparently, she can learn anything I throw at her, and she learns it after the first time I show her. She responds solely to praise. She loves praise! Her first night at home with me, she was “bell” trained, and we continued to reinforce her “come” and “sit” commands. At nine weeks, she learned “lay”, “bring it”, and  “wait”. She walks on her leash beautifully. No pulling and she walks right in line with me. To help us both flourish, we signed up for puppy training class this week. There seems to be nothing she can’t do. Everyday is a new adventure for her! She is so fun to watch grow, develop, and learn. It’s going to be fun watching her grow into her potential!

Again, I thank you for bringing her into this world! I've grown up with Shepherds, so I know they are amazing and, in my opinion, are the best breed, but she far exceeds my expectations on the beauty and brains of a Shepherd. She and I are completely bonded.  She will become my Service Dog to help me with my PTSD.

With your great breeding and early handling and training, she has been set up for success!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You and Callye are simply AMAZING!!!

Warmest regards,

Gracye S.

MORE OF CALLYE's FUN STORIES :

I wanted to share with you a story that just makes me sooooo very proud of Callye! A combination of great breeding by you and your selection of dogs to breed, and the training Callye and I have been doing since day 1. This story just exemplifies her instinct, our bond, and her obedience at only 10 months! I can't stop feeling so proud of her...and safe!

This morning, I was napping on the couch when the maintenance man knocked on the door. Callye, of course, started barking. I couldn't get to the door fast enough. The guy opened the door. Callye's bark grew vicious and she was right by the door waiting for the guy to set a foot through the door. The guy saw "the barking dog" was loose and at the door and quickly, I mean QUICKLY closed the door and locked it. I told Callye to sit and be quiet. She obeyed. I let the guy in and Callye began to bark again. I told him to put his hand out to let her smell him. So he did. Callye decided she wanted nothing to do with the guy and began barking again. I told her to be quiet and go to her crate. She, again, obeyed. She watched the guy and me intently the whole time from her crate. If the guy got close to her crate, she'd growl. He was eager to complete his work order and to make sure I was happy. Funny how Callye has that effect on people. I just couldn't get over Callye obeying me through her barking and her instinct to protect and guard. I gave my commands in my normal soft voice. I wasn't trying to project over her bark. I'm just astounded!

Also, yesterday, I fainted in the kitchen. When I woke up, Callye was laying next to me with her paw in my hand. I began to open my eyes and she started licking my face gently. I'm so glad she didn't try wrestling me when she saw me laying on the floor. Smart little Callye knew something wasn't quite right. She wasn't even eating or attempting to eat the food that I had dropped to the floor when I fainted. When I sat up, she brought me her ball and laid her head in my lap. She's my Lord's shepherd every day and in every way!!!

I hope you enjoy Callye stories that I send you here and there. I just want you to know what a perfect fit we are for each other. I love her so much! She seems to be my everything. You do a great job with your breeding and you make such a difference with what you do and how you do it. Your heart is in the right spot. I thank God every night for you, the Lord's Shepherds, and Callye.

  RIKA HAS MY BACK!

Picture
Hey gang,

Though you might like to see a recent photo of Rika.  She's doing great... a bit mischievous at times, but an avid swimmer and has a distinct personality.  Funny story... on 24 May, a buddy of mine and I went to Key west with her.  Now on the way back, I get pulled over for a bulb over my license plate, that is burned out... no biggie  but I am a carry conceal permit holder... so.  I handed the officer my CCW card and license.  He asks for the firearm and as I am handing it out the window to him, she goes nuts and damn near took his arm off as he reached in.

It was awesome... I took over the situation then, calmed her and advised him that she is a working dog (has been trained) and not to approach the vehicle right now, and I would step out.

He was cool about it, ran the weapon, no issues, and after a short talk about my contracting and military experience, I let her out, she let him approach her when we shook hands and I told him where I got her.  It was a great feeling knowing she has my back.

Well take care for now, and we will be in touch.

           SASHA
  (Hannah & Judah's)

Picture

Hey
Just wanted to say hi and give a recent picture of Sasha.  She is from your June litter.  70 lbs and doing great.  She officially has us trained.

Her personality is sweet.  When we have people over they are amazed at how gentle she is.  We are so grateful.  She loves giving kisses, can't get close enough to us by constantly pressing up against us and loves just being around.  She'll lay next to you and just put her paw on you…like she is holding hands.

 Thanks for everything.
Thad and Jill M.

We love her so much. She has an amazing life! We just fenced in the yard for her, she loves to play and she still sleeps in her crate in our bedroom - doesn't make a sound until you let her out in the morning.  :)

Hope everyone else loves their baby as much as we do!

Thanks,
Jill M.

CALLYE's 1ST  TIME TRAVELING  AS SERVICE DOG

Picture

Callye began her training as a Service Dog in December. She took her first flight to St. Louis with me. She did fabulous! Everyone loved her! TSA asked to take pictures with her, everyone said how gorgeous she is. She was a regular little celebrity. I was very proud of her.

                 TARA

Picture

It's been a long time since I've written you, but I wanted to send you a picture of "Tara."  She quickly stole all of our hearts. She is incredibly smart.. And although she knows how to bark and sound intimidating, she really is a big baby.

I wish you could meet her now that she's a "big girl." She weighs around 85#'s and the vet says she is the most beautiful Shepherd she has ever seen. They always comment on how long her tail is. Apparently, her tail is a big deal. I call her my "Princess girl," since she and I are the only two females in my house of boys.

What a joy we have in this big puppy. One look from those puppy dog eyes, especially when she puts her head in my lap... And I melt. She knows just where my soft spot is.

Here is this years CHRISTmas photo of her. I love this picture of her. She continues to amaze me at how human she is.

Wishing you a wonderful CHRISTmas!!!

           MACK

Picture

Mack is 55lbs and this was taken 2 weeks ago waiting to pick up our daughter from school. I think Mackey-poo looks so much like Hannah and has her sweet submissive personality with Judah's size : ) Mack loves his bro Larry and they couldn't be closer friends. Trip and I truly feel he is an amazing investment and best dog we have owned to date. We get compliments and questions about him all the time and I refer people to your site. I'm almost tempted to say I'd love another Hannah/Judah creation in the near future!

                                        blessings, Juliana

              ZOE  (6 months)

Picture

We’re enjoying every moment with her, learning her quarks and laughing. She is very alert, often times barking before Greta. At times, there’s no one there, but still J hehe. Her bark sounds pretty aggressive, which is ironic since she’s scared most of the time.

We noticed she also likes to lay on your feet when you’re cooking and lay under my hair while sleeping. Unfortunately, she has car sickness which her and Greta both share. We take them to the dog park every weekend. Zoë loves barking at dogs as they come in, hair standing up (of course) and pretending like she’s a rough and tough puppy. As soon as they come up to smell her, she whines.

She’s getting big, too. Last time we weighed her at the vet, she was 49lbs. That was about 2 mos. ago. She was spayed in August.

   GRETCHEN JUST PASSED CGC

Picture

Just a short note to brag about Gretchen passing CGC at 10 months with the most demanding evaluator.
She aced all 10 positions, which is the only way this evaluator would pass anyone.

Just two months until she is starts Therapy work and Reading Paws.

               TRIGGER

Picture
This is Andrea B.  My husband, Justin, and I adopted "Shadow" from
you the last week of January and he has become a wonderful addition to our
family!  We changed his name to Trigger (in keeping with the police theme)
and is quickly learning his new name.  We have continued to keep him on the
same dog food that you recommended; he is growing so fast!  He is about
45lbs and is so smart!  He knows how to sit and lay down on command and is
working on heel.  He loves playing ball, especially with Justin.  His  new favorite thing is to collect sticks that he picks up around our neighborhood  when he goes for a walk.  He brings them back to our front porch and plays  fetch with Justin there.  He has collected about 6 (like the one in the  attached picture) and we think he is making his own log cabin - haha! Anways, we wanted to share what Trigger has been up to for the past
4months.  Thanks again for our baby! :)  -Andrea B.-

My name is PHILEMON I live in Miami florida, I love your

WEST german bitch with amazing temperament! Keep up the good work and may GOD
BLESS YOUR KENNEL!

      HOUSTON

Picture

Houston is a great dog! He enjoys his feline companions, although they don't quite see eye to eye. He's the neighborhood mascot, and on our nightly walks we're usually joined by Chi-Chi the chihuahua. Houston is getting an education and has graduated from puppy school with flying colors, yet he usually ended the day as the class clown. We're working on shake, but he confuses it with down. I'm sure he'll get it...eventually :)! He's grown tremendously, close to 50 lbs. He's a spoiled puppy who gets as many treats as he wants, as long as he does the work! Thank you so much for this wonderful addition to the family! I never tire of his eager face waiting for me at the door.

   Sincerely,
    Olivia

      REPTAR

Picture

Hi,
Just wanted to send you a picture of our baby. We looked at the pictures of the day we got her and can't believe how much she's grown. I wonder if she'll ever grow into those "Dumbo" ears and those paws. Haha. Her ears have "popped" now and are both beautifully on top of her head. She's doing amazing with the potty training and will go to the back door almost every time she has to go.
Thanks so much for the wonderful baby we got from you. She is amazing and we love her so much.
Thanks once again and I pray that our Lord will continue to bless you, your family, and your "Shepherd Ministry."
Wishing Gods Blessings Upon You,

Kim S.

Just passing through, but wanted to tell you that your dogs are beautiful!  Ty P.

Major

Picture
Here's a picture of Major and he is getting bigger(92lbs). I've started him on some holistic food that my children's pastor told me about, as he feeds his golden retrivers with it and it has fruits and vegetables in it. I get it from a company here in Florida (Trilogy) as it was it was started by a Veternarian. We still are going to training every Monday night. Have a blessed week!

Love the website, congrats!!

I'm sending you pics of King Vegeta Lords of The Shepherds, so you can post them too. It has been a true blessing to have him in our family!

You are doing a great job, we will keep in touch, of course.

Hello, I was browsing through the internet and seen your page. I have to say your dogs are beautiful and your pups are beautiful as well.
I am a small family breeder and I love Shepherds; they are loyal and wonderful family pets. Your page is great and inspiring "Jesus is our father and savior" and the German Shepherd is our protector. Love your name of your kennels. Good luck and if anyone is looking for a german shepherd pup I will lead them to your page. I will keep in touch as I will be looking for another family member in the coming years.

Bandit

Picture

Here are some pictures of Bandit.  One is from when he was smaller. I was loading the dishwasher, turned around and he had climbed up on the door. He is a great dog and very smart. As you can see, he is very handsome. We have flip handles on our doors in the house so he lets himself in or out of any room he doesn't want to be in. He loves the pool and always brings his toys to you when he wants to play. If the water bowl gets empty he brings it to you and drops it at your feet. He seems to be as protective if he thinks it is needed as he is playful.

We are really very happy with Bandit and would definitely send anyone to you who may be looking for a Shepherd.

Thanks again,
                                                                                                                                              - Dawn

I picked your card up at Pet Supermarket. I have an all black Shepherd. He is my first one. I must agree with you on your description of the German Shepherd. He is very loyal, obedient, fast to learn, definitely willing to please. He is the best dog I ever had.
I live in Clermont also and I know one day I will want another shepherd.
I will be keeping your business card to call you for when I am ready for another one.
I love your website!

They are getting big!  Especially Grizzly!  He got treats and lots of loving yesterday for his Birthday! Grizzly is a big brute. He is all power! Loves his kiddie swimming pool! Loves affection! He loves to be in charge! Loves water! Bella is the tiny agile one who likes to jump like a kangaroo! On top of our trampoline, pool table, the fence till we fixed that problem. They adore one another and can't bear to be separated! They are both so smart and loving! They work together to do things! They love to chew anything and everything! I can't wait for that stage to be over! They have chewed the house, golf cart, boat, Christmas presents from UPS! and much more! It has been fun!!  Its hard to stay upset with them cause they are so darn cute and loveable!

I purchased your male black and tan pup that was born 3/28. He loves me so much and is getting huge. I wanted to share some pics with you then and now (8 months), 80 lbs later. Isn’t he beautiful, 80 lbs of pure muscle and very happy. We love each other.
He loves swimming, riding in the car, visiting Pet Smart and long walks on the beach, chewing big soup bones,  and playing with anything that is brave enough to play with him cause he is a rough houser. He’s my spoiled lil baby! He likes to carry my stuff in his back pack with his toys and treats. He feels important with it on- like he has a job.

What Our Clients Are Saying

Moses was exceptional in his desire to place the right puppy with the right family. The dogs he produces are beyond excellent. In a week ours is pretty much potty trained. Our Samuel has adopted us to be his new family. He is growing so fast we know he is going to be our protector and awesome companion. Moses is probably the most invested breeder we found. He loves all of his dogs. In fact they are more his children than dogs. Wonderful experience.
