Dogs who have been uprooted from their homes, or have had difficult beginnings are likely to bond completely and deeply with their new human caretakers who they view as heroes.
German Shepherds who find themselves here because of a death of owner, tragedy in their former human family, financial problems, or relocating will usually go through a mourning period. Once they are re-homed, however, they usually want nothing more than to please their new owner/hero---YOU!
No matter what circumstances brought them to me, most German Shepherd dogs are exceptionally affectionate and attentive pets and extremely loyal companions.

WHERE I STEP IN AND WHAT I DO BEFORE I RE-HOME A GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG
Each GSD that is rehomed is TEMPERAMENT tested and SOCIALIZED with other pets, farm animals and with children. So we can match the right family with their new companion!
Each will have basic obedience and manner training as well : ) And I will help teach you how to keep it up and help you find a trainer or obedience group to help support you and your new family member.
They will be seen by a licensed vet and treated if necessary, given proper vaccinations, tested for heartworm and spayed and neutered if needed.
PLEASE see the others that I have found homes for : )
